Mikaela Devine is an Associate Attorney at Binsfeld Law Firm, PLLC, practicing in the area of Immigration Law. Mikaela represents employers and individuals alike in their applications for lawful status in the United States. Mikaela specifically enjoys working with employers on permanent offers of employment (PERMs) and temporary visas (ex. H-1Bs, TNs, O-1s), and with individuals on family-based petitions, green card applications, waivers, asylum, U visas for victims of crime, military parole-in-place, and naturalization applications.

Throughout her legal education at the University of Minnesota Law School, Mikaela focused on immigration law. She clerked for the Immigration Court in Minnesota, now located at Fort Snelling, then clerked at two immigration law firms before earning her J.D. cum laude. Mikaela has continued working in immigration law as an attorney since that time, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

At Binsfeld Law Firm, PLLC, Mikaela enjoys working with Misti Allen Binsfeld on a variety of immigration law cases. Mikaela prioritizes the needs and wishes of each individual client, and takes pride in her work. Mikaela believes that communication is the bedrock of a successful client-attorney relationship. Mikaela tackles challenging legal problems with energy and excitement, and takes care to clearly explain the resulting potential solutions to her clients so they can make a confident and informed decision.

In her spare time, Mikaela spends time with her husband and young son, and is an amateur photographer.
